Titled, Circular Economy Spotlight: The Sustainable Life of Lead Batteries, the video offers an unprecedented, in-depth look at the complete lifecycle of a lead battery.
Crafting a Story Worth Watching
When ABR sought an engaging way to educate audiences about the circular economy of lead batteries – which provide critical materials for domestic manufacturing and supply chain security – they turned to Activated Growth for creative guidance. Given the multifaceted nature of the story ABR wanted to tell, we proposed a dynamic video approach designed to both educate and captivate viewers while delivering clear, impactful messaging.
Collaboration Creates Cutting-Edge Concept
This ambitious project was the result of months of collaboration between Activated Growth, ABR and its members, and the International Lead Association (ILA). Together, we developed a video concept using a cutting-edge virtual studio to create an engaging experience that reflects the industry’s innovative and high-tech nature.
To educate viewers on how the circular economy works and why it matters, we crafted a script that takes viewers on a journey – from initial battery design through manufacturing, use, collection, recycling, and back to reuse – demonstrating how this sustainable process minimizes waste and powers a greener, more secure future.
Visual Storytelling at Its Best
Our design team brought the story to life by creating a custom virtual set and sourcing on-camera talent to narrate the journey. To further enhance authenticity, we captured real-world manufacturing and recycling footage on-site at multiple facilities, providing a firsthand look at the key steps of the circular economy process.
The final production seamlessly combined voiceover narration, music, sound effects, motion graphics, and animations through meticulous post-production editing. The result is a visually compelling and informative video that effectively highlights the value of the lead battery industry.
